Autumn has only just begun, and while I haven’t yet felt the first cool breezes of the season, I’m hopeful they’ll arrive soon, bringing an end to the lingering summer heat.

Interestingly, the name ‘March’ is said to derive from ‘Martius’, which was the first month in the earliest Roman calendar. This connection fits perfectly with this month’s blog theme, as the short story, musing, something light, and travelling sprout all draw inspiration from our experiences in Italy last year.
